About us
Where business owners find solid ground again
It all started with a vision. A why so clear that no one ever had to ask.
Over time, day-to-day business takes over. Invoices need to be paid, employees need to be led, and decisions need to be made. And there’s always something new on top of it all. At some point, all that’s left of the original idea is the hope that next week will be a little calmer.

That’s where we come in
We see the people behind the numbers
We look beyond numbers, processes and structures to the people behind them. Because a company only works when the solutions fit the people who are expected to implement them.
That’s why our consulting doesn’t end with a slide deck and a long list of action items. We identify where things are getting stuck, develop concrete next steps and, if you like, support you through implementation.
Caroline Läufer · Founder & Managing Director
From the civil service to a focus on people
On paper, my first career looked like a success: a tenured civil servant, a relatively fast rise to school principal, and involvement in numerous change projects. And yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right.
Later, a personality assessment made clear what I had known deep down for a long time: my strength lies in reading people closely, recognizing connections quickly and constantly looking for new ways forward. In a system that was so hard to move, I had little opportunity to put that to use.
Today, it’s an essential part of my work.
Where our insight comes from
We quickly spot where things really get stuck
Thanks to our training in coaching, our work as strengths coaches and our experience in corporate process consulting, we quickly recognize where difficulties arise.
That’s the foundation for our recommendations. They don’t just have to make sense on paper – they have to work in real day-to-day business.
01
In your processes
Workflows that no longer work – we find where time and energy are being lost.
02
In collaboration
Friction within the team, unclear roles – wherever people are working at cross-purposes.
03
In role fit
When a task simply isn’t the right fit for the person expected to take it on.

What that means in practice
Good advice has to fit – not just sound logical
Before we started working together, a client had been advised to focus more on a single area. It made sense from a business perspective, but it was wrong for her personally.
The harder she tried to follow that advice, the more dissatisfied she became.
Our joint analysis revealed that her versatility was actually one of her greatest strengths. The problem wasn’t the number of topics, but that she spent too much time on tasks she could have delegated long ago.
So the goal wasn’t to narrow her scope. What mattered was reshaping her role and giving her more room for the tasks where she could make the biggest impact.
Differences like these are crucial to us. Good advice shouldn’t just sound logical. It has to fit the person and the company it’s meant for.
What LCI stands for
Living continuous improvement
Living Continuous Improvement (LCI) stands for the ongoing pursuit of getting better. In a world of constant change, the question “How can we make this even better?” is a central anchor for us. The phoenix in our logo reflects this idea, too. Growth rarely follows a straight line. Sometimes you have to leave things behind, reorganize and rebuild before you can move forward again.
If you’re at a point where you know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start, let’s take a look at your situation together.

Let’s get to know each other
In a no-obligation chemistry call, we’ll get to know each other, talk about your challenges and find out whether working together makes sense.
